Exhibition

In April 2010 an exhibition of photographs taken in New Zealand by Jan Lhotský took place in historic space of the Cloisters gallery in Brno’s New Town Hall.

The exhibition documented the eight month period during which the author traveled with a camera across the North Island and South Island of New Zealand. Thus the photographs show the unusual beauty of the landscape with large mountain-ranges, active volcanoes and deep fiords. Among hundreds of picturesque places are not only pristine lakes, rain forests and geothermal areas with geysers, but also whales, penguins and unforgettable paradise beaches.

The exhibition took place under patronage of Brno’s mayor and its general partner was the city of Brno. Other partners were the Koktejl magazine, radio Kiss Hády, Czech broadcasting radio, Metropolis, Kult and ZONER software.
